2022 Season Celebration

We have completed our 2022 season here at Task Force Heroes and to say it was an awesome season is an understatement!

Over the past 5 seasons we have been blessed with the privilege to serve over 328 of our Nation’s Heroes which include Veterans, Law Enforcement Officers, and Firefighters. As we wrap up the 2022 season we recognize the new agencies the Lord has brought to us which include, Santa Monica PD, Former Seal Team Operators, Veterans from Idaho, Georgia, California, Montana, and additional agencies to include Anaheim PD, Long Beach Fire, Huntington Beach PD, LAPD Metro and more.

Furthermore, we were given the honor to baptize 5 of these over 75 Heroes that attended TFH in 2022. In addition to our celebratory data, we continued to be blessed by some of our partners which include Stone Glacier, Schnees Montana, Lamson Reels, Matthew 4:19 fly rods and Yellowstone paving! We are so very thankful for these partnerships and their generosity which assist us in our mission of service!

A part of our mission and theme here at TFH for this 2022 season was “Always Forward”, focusing on the things ahead with the Lord and His Light as our beacon to follow! There are many scripture verses describing the Light of Christ, the importance of light in darkness and letting our light shine for the Kingdom.

With an ever changing world that currently seems divided, we know that our Father in Heaven never changes. He is our steadfast rock and our Strong Tower. His light permeates every inch of darkness. James chapter 1 verse 17 describes it so well, “Every good and perfect gift from above, coming down from the Father of the Heavenly Lights, who does not change like shifting shadows”. Bottom line is that everything we have, our jobs, our families, our health and our lives are a gift from our Lord in Heaven. The light that He has established in us as believers is a light that cannot be extinguished and cannot be contained. It can be described as an eternal light. We must continue to let it shine amidst, at times, a dark world. We must share this light with others. We must share this light with our communities and within our country. With a gracious and loving God who never changes, we too must remember that He is still in charge and seated on the throne. We must continue to look to the light of Christ amidst the darkness in this world as we stand firm on our Faith, the Promises of our Lord and the Sacrifice of the Cross!

A friend of mine said it like this, “Don’t curse the darkness just light a candle”. Our candle is Jesus and we light that candle when we believed, when we wake up in the morning and thank Him that we are breathing and granted another day to serve Him, His people and the Kingdom. Our light shines in the darkness because it is a gift that He has given to us freely!
